Winter’s kicking in at the Wool Brigade

Where on earth is the snow?! It feels like a never ending autumn at the moment, not that I’m complaining. I’m knitting winter woollies regardless.

I lacked time and motivation to start a proper knitting project over Christmas so found myself flicking through patterns on Ravelry on Monday to have something to knit for the first Wool Brigade group of 2014. So I’ve come across this one – foliage hat. I wanted something challenging but small enough not to drive me mad. I’m knitting it in a purple colourway of Sirdar’s Escape DK. I’m hoping that the mixed colour nature of the yarn still shows the detail of the stitch. Either way its a purple hat so it’ll be perfect!
