The Nepal earthquake has devastated the country and left thousands dead. Images are coming out of Kathmandu of the tragedy but at present little has come out of Pokhara, only 50 miles from the epicentre of the quake.
I recently donated to this fundraiser just before the quake but now more than ever it’s important they receive help. As they are based in Pokhara so close to the epicentre, HART Nepal’s rescue centre has been affected and has no power at present, though the uk based volunteers have heard the centre staff are safe.
A lot will be done to help people in the months to come and its important that these charities receive the help they need to do their vital work. But I want to make sure the animals do not get forgotten about. Please click the link – Saving Nepal’s animals – and donate what you can to help raise funds to save the lives of street dogs in Nepal.
