Purple morning star – patchwork challenge

I feel like I managed to have a very productive weekend and whilst I didn’t sit down and sew my August block in one go, I did get it finished. I bought this fabric on a recent trip to Scotland at a lovely craft shop near Killin (where I also treated myself to fabulous cake!)

My quarter square triangles are still not perfect but they are much better than when I attempted them last time. (I might even have a go at redoing that pesky block that I made such a bad job of in February.)

More importantly look at my gorgeous blocks all lined up!!

  1. Oh WOW! I love seeing all your blocks lined up! You did such a great job of choosing colors & fabrics and they all go together really well. I haven’t lined mine up yet…but I think I will now 😉
btw, thanks again for sharing this patchwork challenge – I’ve learned so much!
